Welcome to the CIM Web site!Next Meeting: Plant Tour to Hartung Brothers agribusiness operation The Council of Independent Managers web site puts a professional face on our organization. It enhances our ability to update the membership on upcoming meetings, notify you of changes in schedule and to take the place of our regular mail newsletter. In addition to the new web site, we will also make it easier for members to contact one another via our new group email. By linking us all to the same email group, not only can I announce these updates, but members can also communicate more efficiently with one another. For example, if a member has a breaking issue that he or she would like us to consider in lieu of a table topic, we can all prepare ahead of time to discuss this issue. Hopefully, we will discover new ways to more extensively use the web site to increase the value of our group to our members and also use it as a vehicle to help recruit others who will in turn keep CIM even more vibrant, relevant and engaging. If you experience any problems with the web site, please let me know. I’m still learning the vagaries of maintaining a web site and there is somewhat of a learning curve. But don’t hesitate to let me know if something needs to be updated or is not functioning properly or if you have ideas about information or features to offer.
